Described as the “bright lights” in the energy industry by Bob Huggard, Temporal Power joins an elite group of past and current award recipients, such as Enbridge, Toronto Hydro, Gowlings and Ontario Power Generation, to name just a few. Temporal Power CEO, Cam Carver “is privileged to be part of a network of Ontario companies that are pushing innovation and working to put Ontario at the forefront of the global energy stage.”
Temporal Power recently launched the first grid connected energy storage facility in Ontario. The facility, which is owned by Toronto based NRStor Inc., provides 4 MW of energy balancing to Ontario’s Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO). “The facility responds to requests every few seconds to put power on or take power off the grid to maintain precise energy balancing, a critical service for grid operations”, stated Cam Carver, “We are also constructing a second grid scale energy storage facility with 10 MW of range in conjunction with Hydro One, this one for integrating renewable wind energy generation onto the Ontario grid.”
